Hadith 20797
٢٠٧٩٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا سهل بن يوسف عن شعبة قال: سألت الحكم عن الرجل يدرك الصيد وبه رمق، فيدع الكلب حتى (يقتله) (١) قال: لا يأكل.
Hazrat Sha’bah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Hazrat Hakam (may Allah have mercy on him) that if a person reaches his prey and there is still some life left in it, but his dog kills it, then what is the ruling regarding such prey? He replied that he should not eat it.
