Hadith 20711
٢٠٧١١ - حدثنا يونس بن محمد نا ليث بن سعد عن يزيد بن عبد اللَّه بن أسامة عن الوليد بن أبي الوليد عن عثمان بن عبد اللَّه بن سراقة عن عمر بن الخطاب قال: سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ (يقول) (١): "من أظل رأس غاز أظله اللَّه يوم القيامة، ومن جهز (غازيًا) (٢) حتى يستقل كان له مثل أجره حتى يموت أو يرجع، ومن بنى مسجدًا يذكر فيه اسم اللَّه بنى اللَّه (له) (٣) بيتًا في الجنة" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever provides shade over the head of a Mujahid, Allah Almighty will grant him shade on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever equips a Mujahid for jihad, he will have a reward equal to that of the Mujahid until he attains martyrdom or returns. Whoever builds a mosque in which the name of Allah is mentioned, Allah Almighty will build a house for him in Paradise.
