Hadith 20679
٢٠٦٧٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم قال: قال عبد الرحمن بن (يزيد) (١): (اغدوا) (٢) بنا حتى نجتعل قال: فغدوت إليه فقال (لي) (٣): إني قرأت البارحة سورة (براءة) (٤) فوجدتها تحث على الجهاد قال: فخرج.
Ibrahim narrates that Abdur Rahman bin Yazid (may Allah have mercy on him) once said, "Come to us so that we may divide the spoils of war." I went to him in the morning, and he said, "Last night I recited Surah At-Tawbah; this Surah encourages jihad." Saying this, he set out for jihad.
