Hadith 20667
٢٠٦٦٧ - حدثنا محمد بن (بشر) (١) عن صدقة بن المثنى قال: سمعت جدي (رياح) (٢) (بن الحارث) (٣) يذكر عن سعيد (بن زيد) (٤) بن عمرو بن نفيل يقول: واللَّه لمشهد (يشهده) (٥) الرجل منهم يومًا واحدًا في سبيل اللَّه مع رسول اللَّه ﷺ (٦) (أغبر) (٧) فيه وجهه، أفضل من عمل أحدكم ولو عمَّر عُمر نوح (٨).
Hazrat Saeed bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that to spend a day in the company of Allah’s Messenger ﷺ in the path of Allah for the purpose of jihad, in which the face becomes covered with dust, is better than worshipping for the entire lifespan of Noah if one were to attain it.
