Hadith 20568
٢٠٥٦٨ - حدثنا حسين بن علي عن زائدة عن الأعمش (عن شمر) (١) عن شهر عن أبي الدرداء قال: من صام يومًا في سبيل اللَّه كان بينه وبين النار خندق كما بين السماء والأرض (٢).
Hazrat Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that whoever fasts for one day in the way of Allah, Allah Almighty creates a trench between him and Hell whose distance is equal to the space between the earth and the sky.
