Hadith 20490
٢٠٤٩٠ - حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن الأوزاعي عن يحيى بن أبي عمرو (الشيباني) (١) عن (ابن) (٢) (محيريز) (٣) قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "فارس (نطحة) (٤) أو نطحتان، ثم (لا) (٥) فارس بعدها (أبدًا) (٦)، والروم ذات القرون أصحاب بحر وصخر كلما ذهب قرن خلف قرن مكانه، هيهات إلى آخر الدهر (هم) (٧) أصحابكم ما كان في العيش خير" (٨).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Muhairiz (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Persia will fight the Muslims once or twice, then after that the kingdom of Persia will no longer exist. Rome is the one with horns; they are the people of the sea and the rocks. When one of their horns ends, another takes its place. In the last era, they will come to an end.
