Hadith 20472
٢٠٤٧٢ - حدثنا وكيع نا أسامة بن زيد عن (بعجة) (١) بن عبد اللَّه الجهني عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "يأتي على الناس زمان يكون خير الناس (فيه) (٢) منزلة من أخذ بعنان فرسه في سبيل اللَّه، كلما سمع (هيعة) (٣) استوى على متنه ثم يطلب الموت في (مظانه) (٤)، ورجل في شعب من هذه (الشعاب) (٥) يقيم الصلاة ويؤتي الزكاة ويدع الناس إلا من خير" (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A time will come upon people when, in the sight of Allah, the best person will be the one who, holding the reins of his horse in the path of Allah, sets out; whenever he senses any danger, he quickly mounts his horse. Then he seeks death in the places of death. The second is the person who goes into a mountain pass, establishes prayer there, pays zakat, and leaves people for the sake of goodness.
