Hadith 20455
٢٠٤٥٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا علي بن مسهر عن الشيباني عن الوليد بن (العيزار) (١) عن (سعد) (٢) بن إياس أبي عمرو الشيباني (عن) (٣) عبد اللَّه قال: سألت النبي ﷺ أي العمل أفضل؟ قال: "الصلاة لوقتها"، قال، قلت: ثم أي؟ قال: "بر الوالدين" قلت: ثم أي؟ قال: "الجهاد في سبيل اللَّه" (٤).
Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! Which deed is the best?" He replied, "To perform the prayer at its appointed time." I asked, "Then which deed is the best?" He replied, "To treat your parents well." I asked, "Then which deed is the best?" He replied, "To strive in the path of Allah."
