Hadith 18619
١٨٦١٩ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: (نا) (١) حماد بن سلمة عن عطاء الخرساني عن يحيى بن (يعمر) (٢) عن (عمار) (٣) قال: قدمت من السفر ⦗٧٠⦘ (فمسحني) (٤) أهلي بشيء من (صفرة) (٥) فأتيت رسول اللَّه ﷺ فسلمت عليه فلم يرد علي ولم (يرحب) (٦) بي وقال: " (انطلق) (٧) فاغسل عنك هذا"، فذهبت فغسلته (فبقي) (٨) (في) (٩) (من) (١٠) أثره شيء (فأتيته) (١١) فسلمت (عليه) (١٢) فلم يرد عليّ ولم يرحب بي فقال: "انطلق فاغسل عنك هذا"، فذهبت فغسلته ثم جئت فسلمت عليه (فرحب) (١٣) بي وقال: "إن الملائكة لا تقرب جنازة كافر ولا جنب ولا (متضمخ) (١٤) (بخلوق) (١٥) " (١٦).
Hazrat Ammar (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I returned from a journey and my wife applied something to me in which there was a yellowish tint. I presented myself before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and greeted him with salam, but he did not reply to my salam nor did he welcome me. He said, "Go and wash it off." I went and washed it, but its effect still remained. I came back and greeted him with salam, but he did not reply to my salam nor did he welcome me. Then he said, "Go and wash it off." I went and washed it, then I came back and greeted him with salam, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) welcomed me and said, "The angels do not come near the funeral of a disbeliever, a person in a state of major impurity (junub), or a man who applies yellow color."
