Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Yahya bin Abi Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a case was brought before Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) in which a woman had married a man on the condition that the dowry would be upon the woman and the right to separation and conjugal relations would also be with her. Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "You have opposed the Sunnah and made someone unworthy responsible for the matter. The dowry will be upon you, the right to conjugal relations and separation will also be with you, and the Sunnah is for you."
