Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once a man brought his daughter to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "My daughter is refusing to get married." The Prophet ﷺ said to the girl, "Obey your father." The girl replied, "I will not marry until you tell me what right a husband has over his wife." The Prophet ﷺ said, "The right of a husband over his wife is such that if a boil appears on the husband's body and his wife licks it, or if pus and blood come out of it and his wife licks it, even then she would not have fulfilled his right." Upon this, the girl said, "By the One Who has sent you with the truth, I will never marry." Then the Prophet ﷺ said to her father, "Do not marry women without their permission."
