Hadith 17917
١٧٩١٧ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن عروة عن عائشة قالت: أتاني عمي من الرضاعة أفلح (بن) (١) (أبي القعيس) (٢) يستأذن علي بعد ما ضرب الحجاب، فابيت أن آذن له حتى دخل عليّ رسول اللَّه ﷺ فقال: "إنه عمك فأذني له" (قالت) (٣): إنما (أرضعتني) (٤) المرأة ولم يرضعني (الرجل) (٥) قال: "تربت" (٦) يداك أو يمينك" (٧).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that once my foster uncle, Aflah bin Abi Al-Quais, came to me. By that time, the commandments regarding veiling had been revealed. He asked for permission to enter, but I refused him. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came and said, "He is your uncle; allow him to meet you." Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "A woman suckled me, not a man." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You have said a strange thing."
