Hadith 176
١٧٦ - حدثنا ابن نمير عن عبد الملك بن سلع عن عبد خير قال: كنا مع علي يوما صلاة الغداة، فلما انصرف، دعا الغلام (بالطست) (١) فتوضأ، ثم أدخل أصبعيه في أذنيه، ثم قال لنا: هكذا رأيت رسول اللَّه ﷺ توضأ (٢).
Hazrat Abd Khair narrates that one day during the Fajr prayer we were with Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). After completing the prayer, he asked for a vessel of water and performed ablution. During ablution, he inserted his fingers into his ears, then said to us: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performing ablution in this manner.
