Hadith 17551
١٧٥٥١ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة (عن) (١) منصور قال: (حدثنا) (٢) مجاهد في (غرفة) (٣) المنهال بن عمرو عن ابن أبي ليلى (عن) (٤) عمر بن الخطاب أنه قال في امرأة المفقود: (تربص) (٥) (أربع) (٦) سنين ثم (يدعى) (٧) وليه فيطلقها فتعتد بعد ذلك أربعة أشهر وعشرًا (٨).
Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that in the case of a woman's husband going missing, the woman will wait for four years, then the guardian of the man will be called and he will divorce the woman, after which she will observe a waiting period of four months and ten days.
