Hadith 17550
١٧٥٥٠ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري عن سعيد بن المسيب أن عمر بن الخطاب وعثمان بن عفان (قالا) (١) في امرأة المفقود: (تربص) (٢) أربع سنين ⦗٣٥٧⦘ وتعتد أربعة أشهر وعشرًا (٣).
Hazrat Umar bin Khattab and Hazrat Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with them) say that in the case of a woman's husband going missing, she will wait for four years and then observe an 'iddah of four months and ten days.
