Hadith 17351
١٧٣٥١ - حدثنا ابن مبارك عن حنظلة قال: سمعت طاوسًا وسئل عن (الأمة) (١) تعتق ولها زوج حر تخير؟ (قال) (٢): لا علم لي ولكنها إذا كانت تحت عبد خيرت] (٣).
Hazrat Tawus was asked: If a slave woman is set free and her husband is free, should she be given the option (of separation)? He replied: I do not know about this, but if she is the wife of a slave, then she will be given the option.
