Hadith 17277
١٧٢٧٧ - حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن (١) أبي رزين في قوله تعالى: ﴿تُرْجِي مَنْ تَشَاءُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ﴾ [الأحزاب: ٥١]، وكان ممن آوى عائشة وأم سلمة وزينب وحفصة (٢) فكان (قسمتهن) (٣) من نفسه وماله (فيهن) (٤) سواء، وكان ممن أرجى سودة وجويرية وأم حبيبة وميمونة وصفية فكان يقسم لهن ما شاء، وكان أراد أن يفارقهن فقلن له: اقسم لنا من نفسك ما شئت ودعنا نكون على حالنا (٥).
Hazrat Abu Razin, in the explanation of the verse of the Holy Qur'an: "You may put aside whom you will of them, and you may take to yourself whom you will" (Al-Ahzab: 51), states that after this verse, the Prophet ﷺ wished to keep Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), Hazrat Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her), Hazrat Zainab (may Allah be pleased with her), and Hazrat Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her). Their share in the person and body of the Prophet ﷺ would be equal. Those whom he wished to put aside were Hazrat Sawda (may Allah be pleased with her), Hazrat Juwayriya (may Allah be pleased with her), Hazrat Umm Habiba (may Allah be pleased with her), Hazrat Maymuna (may Allah be pleased with her), and Hazrat Safiyya (may Allah be pleased with her). He would distribute among them as he wished. When he intended to put them aside, they said to the Prophet ﷺ that he may assign to them whatever share he wished and leave them to their condition.
