Hadith 171
١٧١ - حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن حميد قال: رأيت أنسا توضأ، فجعل يمسح ظاهر أذنيه وباطنهما، فنظرت إليه! فقال: إن ابن مسعود كان يأمر بذلك (١).
Hazrat Humaid says that I saw Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) wiping both the outer and inner parts of the ears while performing ablution. I asked the reason for this, so he replied that Hazrat Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to do the same.
