١٦٩٥٥ - وعن أبي (النضر) (١) عن عروة بن الزبير أنهم قالوا في المرأة من أهل الكتاب: إذا دخلت من أرض الحرب تدخل أرض العرب بأمان، إن أظهرت السكون في أرض العرب فلا بأس أن ينكحها، المسلم، وإن لم يظهر ذلك إلا عند الخطبة لم تنكح.
16955 - From Abu (al-Nadr) (1) from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr that they said regarding a woman from the People of the Book: If she enters from the land of war into the land of the Arabs with a guarantee of safety, if she shows tranquility in the land of the Arabs, then there is no harm for a Muslim to marry her. But if she does not show that except at the time of the proposal, she is not to be married.
