Hadith 16927
١٦٩٢٧ - حدثنا عباد بن عوام عن عبد الملك عن عطاء في رجل قال لأمته: قد أعتقتك وتزوجتك، قال: هي حرة إن شاءت تزوجته وإن شاءت لم تتزوجه.
Hazrat Ata says that if a man says to his wife, "I have set you free and married you," then she will become free. However, if the woman wishes, she may marry him, and if she wishes, she may not.
