Hadith 16824
١٦٨٢٤ - حدثنا معتمر عن أبي عبيدة عن عمارة بن (حيان) (١) أن امرأة أتت جابر بن زيد فقالت: إن رجلًا يخطب علي أمتي، قال: (لا) (٢) تزوجيه قالت: فإنه يخشى على نفسه، قال: لا تزوجيه، قالت: فإنه يخشى أن يزني بها، قال: فزوجيه.
Hazrat Ammarah bin Hayan says that a woman came to Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid and said that a man has sent a marriage proposal to me for my slave-girl. He said, "Do not marry her there." The woman said that there is a fear of sin for the one who sent the proposal. He again said, "Do not marry her there." The woman said that there is a fear that the one who sent the proposal might commit adultery with the slave-girl. He said, "Then marry her there."
