Hadith 16663
١٦٦٦٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن إسماعيل بن أبي خالد عن قيس عن عبد اللَّه قال: كنا مع النبي ﷺ ونحن شباب، فقلنا: يا رسول اللَّه ﷺ: ألا (نستخصي؟) (١) قال: (لا) (٢)، ثم رخص لنا أن (ننكح) (٣) المرأة بالثوب إلى الأجل، (قال) (٤)، ثم قرأ عبد اللَّه: ﴿يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُحَرِّمُوا طَيِّبَاتِ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ﴾ [المائدة: ٨٧] (٥).
Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we young men were with the Prophet ﷺ. We said, "O Messenger of Allah! Should we not end our masculine desires?" He replied, "No." Then he permitted us that we may marry a woman permanently in exchange for some clothing. Then he recited this verse: "O you who believe! Do not make unlawful the pure things which Allah has made lawful for you."
