Hadith 16518
١٦٥١٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حاتم بن إسماعيل عن جعفر عن أبيه عن جابر أن النبي ﷺ قال: "إني لو استقبلت من أمري ما استدبرت، لم أسق الهدي وجعلتها عمرة، فمن كان منكم ليس معه هدي فليحل"، [(ويجعله (١) (١) عمرة، فقام سراقة فقال: يا رسول اللَّه ألعامنا هذا (أو للأبد) (٢)، فشبك رسول اللَّه ﷺ ⦗١٢٢⦘ أصابعه (واحدة) (٣) في الأخرى، وقال: دخلت العمرة في الحج (لأبد الأبد) (٤) " (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When I set out for any task, I do not turn away from it. I did not drive the sacrificial animal; I made it an ‘Umrah. So, whoever among you does not have a sacrificial animal should become lawful and make it an ‘Umrah. Hazrat Suraqah stood up and asked, “O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Is this only for this year or forever?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) interlaced his fingers and said, “‘Umrah has been included in Hajj. No, rather, it is forever and ever.”
