من كان يقول: إذا خرج من الغائط؛ فليستنج بالماءThose Who Say Istinja Should Be Done with Water After Defecation
Hadith 1646
١٦٤٦ - حدثنا حفص عن داود (وابن) (١) أبي (ليلى) (٢) عن الشعبي قال: لما نزلت هذه الآية قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "يا أهل قباء، ما هذا الثناء الذي أثنى اللَّه عليكم؟ " قالوا: ما منا أحد إلا وهو يستنجي بالماء من الخلاء: ﴿فِيهِ رِجَالٌ يُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يَتَطَهَّرُوا وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُطَّهِّرِينَ﴾ [التوبة: ١٠٨] (٣).
Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that when this verse was revealed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O people of Quba! For what reason has Allah Almighty praised you?" They replied, "Among us, every person, when he comes out of the toilet, performs istinja (cleansing) with water." The verse is this: "In this mosque are people who love to remain pure, and Allah loves those who purify themselves."
