Hadith 1615
١٦١٥ - حدثنا شبابة عن (ابن) (١) أبي (ذئب) (٢) عن الزهري عن (عطاء) (٣) ابن يزيد عن (أبي أيوب) (٤) قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إذا ذهب أحدكم للغائط؛ فلا يستقبل القبلة، ولا يولها ظهره؛ شرقوا، أو غربوا" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ayyub that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When any of you goes to the toilet, he should neither face the Qiblah nor turn his back towards it, but rather sit facing the east or the west.
