Hadith 15952
١٥٩٥٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا سلام عن إبراهيم عن أبي الشعثاء قال: كنا جلوسا مع عبد اللَّه بن (عمر) (١) (بمنى) (٢) فأتينا بطعام فتنحى ابن له فقال: إني صائم، فقال: أطعم فإنها أيام أكل وشرب قال: فأفطر (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Sha’sa that we were sitting in Mina with Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them). Food was brought, so Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) withdrew and said, "I am fasting." He was told, "Eat, these are the days of eating and drinking," so he broke his fast.
