Hadith 15950
١٥٩٥٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الوهاب الثقفي عن المثنى عن (عمرو) (١) ابن (شعيب) (٢) عن سعيد بن المسيب قال: (الركعتان واجبتان) (٣) على من نحر قبل أن ينحر، ومن لم ينحر فعليه أن (يشهدهما) (٤) وزعم أنه لا يسجد (قبلهما) (٥) في فطر ولا أضحى.
Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib says that for the person who is offering sacrifice, it is obligatory to perform the two Eid prayers before the sacrifice, and for the one who is not offering sacrifice, it is necessary for him to be present in Mina, and it was their belief that they did not prostrate before the Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha prayers.
