Hadith 15664
١٥٦٦٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن نمير عن حجاج عن عطاء قال: أدركت (مشيختنا) (١) ابن عباس وجابرا وأبا هريرة و (عبيد) (٢) بن عمير لا يستلمون إلا الحجر الأسود والركن، لا يستلمون غيرهما من الأركان (٣).
Hazrat Ata says that among my teachers I found Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them), Hazrat Jabir, Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair, that they would perform istilam (touching/kissing) of the Hajar Aswad and the (Yemeni) corner, and would not perform istilam of any other corner.
