Hazrat Ikrimah bin Khalid narrates from a person of the Al-Wada’ tribe that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked for water during Tawaf. A person said: "Shall I not give you a drink that I have prepared myself?" Then a vessel was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in which there was raisin nabidh. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Did you cover it with any vessel or place any wood over it?" (Perhaps this was said because there might have been marks on the vessel which later appeared on the face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) after drinking.) Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank from it, and wrinkles appeared on his forehead. Then water was called for and poured into it, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank from it himself and also gave it to his companions to drink.
