Hadith 15087
١٥٠٨٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن عبد الرحمن بن (زياد) (١) عن عبد اللَّه بن الحارث أن عثمان أهديت له حجل وهو في بعض حجاته وهو محرم، فأمر بها فطبخت فجعلت ثريدا فأتي بها في الجفان (ونحن محرمون) (٢)، فأكلوا كلهم إلا علي (٣).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Harith narrates that a white-footed animal was brought as a gift for Hazrat Usman while he was in the state of Ihram with the pilgrims. He ordered it to be cooked; its tharid was prepared and brought in bowls. We were all in the state of Ihram and we all ate from it except Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), who did not partake of it.
