Hadith 15
١٥ - حدثنا عفان قال: نا وهيب قال: نا عبد الرحمن بن حرملة أنه سمع أبا ثفال يحدث أنه سمع رباح بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي سفيان بن حويطب يقول: حدثتني جدتي أنها سمعت أباها يقول: سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "لا صلاة لمن لا وضوء له، ولا وضوء لمن لم يذكر اسم اللَّه عليه" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Sufyan bin Huwaiteb that I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: The prayer of one who does not perform ablution is not valid, and the ablution of one who does not mention the name of Allah before it is not valid.
