Hadith 14654
١٤٦٥٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن (السدي) (١) (عن مرة) (٢) عن عبد اللَّه قال: من هم بسيئة لم تكتب عليه حتى يعملها، وإن هم (و) (٣) (هو بعدن) (٤) أبين أن (يقتل) (٥) عند المسجد الحرام، أذاقه اللَّه من عذاب أليم ثم قرأ: ﴿وَمَنْ يُرِدْ فِيهِ بِإِلْحَادٍ بِظُلْمٍ﴾ [الحج: ٢٥] (٦).
Hazrat Abdullah says that if a person intends to commit a sin or evil, it is not written until he actually does it. But if someone intends to commit a sin in the Haram, such as planning to kill near Masjid al-Haram, then Allah the Exalted will make him taste a painful punishment. Then he recited this verse from Surah Al-Hajj, { وَ مَنْ یُّرِدْ فِیْہِ بِاِلْحَادٍ بِظُلْمٍ }.
