١٤٤٠١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن أبي عدي عن ابن عون عن محمد قال: كان يقول: إذا فرض الرجل الحج فأصابه حصر فإنه يبعث بهديه، فإذا بلغ الهدي محله فإنه إن شاء رجع وحل من (أشياء) (١) وحرم من (أخرى) (٢).
Muhammad says that when Hajj becomes obligatory upon a person and he sets out, then he is prevented (from proceeding), he should send a sacrificial animal (hady). When the hady reaches the place of sacrifice, he should come out of the state of ihram and return. If he wishes, he may do so, and it is obligatory upon him to perform the Hajj again by entering into ihram.
