في الرجل يحج أو يعتمر (يجزئه) التقصيرIs shortening the prayer sufficient for the pilgrim or ‘umrah performer?
Hadith 14118
١٤١١٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر (١) قال: حدثنا جرير عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: إذا حج الرجل (أول) (٢) حجة حلق (فإن حج) (٣) مرة أخرى إن شاء حلق وإن شاء قصر والحلق أفضل، وإن اعتمر الرجل ولم يحج قط فإن شاء حلق وإن شاء قصر، فإن كان متمتعا قصرّ ثم حلق.
Ibrahim says that when a person performs Hajj for the first time, he should have his hair shaved. Then, if he performs Hajj a second time, he may either have his hair shaved or trimmed, but shaving is preferable. And if a person performs Umrah but has not performed Hajj before, then if he wishes, he may have his hair shaved, or if he wishes, he may have it trimmed. And if he performs Tamattu', then he should have his hair trimmed first, then shaved.
