Hadith 13844
١٣٨٤٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا (عايذ) (١) بن حبيب عن حجاج عن عطاء ومجاهد وإبراهيم أنهم قالوا: إذا (أصاب) (٢) المحرم الصيد فعليه ثمنه فاشترى دمًا، ⦗٤٨⦘ (وإن) (٣) لم يجد قوَّم (طعاما) (٤)، فتصدق (لكل) (٥) مسكين نصف صاع، فإن لم يجد صام لكل صاع يومين.
Hazrat Ata, Hazrat Mujahid, and Ibrahim say that if a person in the state of Ihram hunts, then he must pay the value of the animal with which he can buy a sacrificial animal, and if he cannot find that animal, then he should determine the value with food and give one sa’ of charity to each needy person, and if he cannot find needy people either, then for each sa’ he should fast two days.
