Hadith 13784
١٣٧٨٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عباد بن العوام عن عبد الملك عن عطاء قال: أتيت أنا وعبيد بن عمير الليثي عائشة وهي مجاورة بثبير (قال) (١): وكان عليها نذر أن تجاور شهرًا، قال: وكان عبد الرحمن أخوها يمنعها من ذلك، ويقول: جوار البيت وطواف به أحب إليّ وأفضل، قال: فلما مات عبد الرحمن خرجت (٢).
Hazrat Ata narrates that I and Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair Al-Laithi went to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) while she was staying at the place of Thubair. The narrator says that she had made a vow to stay there for a month, and her brother Hazrat Abdur Rahman forbade her from this and used to say that staying in the House of Allah and performing its Tawaf is, in my view, superior and better than this. The narrator says that when Hazrat Abdur Rahman passed away, Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) left.
