Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Qaqa’ bin Hakeem says that I asked Hazrat Sa’eed bin Musayyib about the woman experiencing istihada (non-menstrual bleeding), so he replied: No one knows more about this than I do. When she gets her period, she should stop praying, and when the period ends, she should perform ghusl (ritual bath), wash off the blood, and perform wudu (ablution) for every prayer.
