Hadith 1354
١٣٥٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن عائشة قالت: جاءت فاطمة ابنة أبي حبيش إلي النبي ﷺ فقالت يا رسول اللَّه إني امرأة استحاض، فلا أطهر، أفأدع الصلاة؟ قال: "لا، إنما ذلك عرق، وليس بالحيضة، فإذا أقبلت الحيضة فدعي الصلاة، فإذا أدبرت؛ (فاغسلي) (١) عنك الدم، وصلي" (٢).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "I am a woman suffering from Istihadah (non-menstrual bleeding) and I do not become pure, so should I leave the prayer?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "This is blood from a vein, it is not menstruation. When menstruation comes to you, leave the prayer, and when the menstruation ends, wash the blood off and perform the prayer."
