Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair delivered a sermon: O people! By Allah, the enjoyment (Tamattu') of Hajj with Umrah is not as you say, rather the enjoyment of Hajj with Umrah is such that a person enters into the state of Ihram for Hajj, then he is prevented by illness or something else until the days of Hajj pass, then he comes and converts this Hajj into Umrah, and in the following year he performs Hajj Tamattu' and also sends a Hadi (sacrificial animal). This is the enjoyment (Tamattu') of Hajj with Umrah.
