في الرجل يهل بالحج فيحصر ما عليهIf someone dons ihram for Hajj and is then prevented, what is required of him?
Hadith 13532
١٣٥٣٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن (الأعمش) (١) عن إبراهيم عن عكرمة قال: إذا أهل الرجل بالحج فاحصر، (فليبعث) (٢) بهديه، فإن مضى جعلها عمرة وعليه الحج من قابل (ولا) (٣) هدي عليه، وإن هو أخر ذلك حتى يحج فعليه حجة وعمرة وما استيسر من الهدي، فمن لم يجد فصيام ثلاثة أيام في الحج آخرها يوم عرفة.
Hazrat Ikrimah says that when a person enters into the state of Ihram for Hajj and then is prevented (from completing it), then a sacrificial animal (Hady) is obligatory upon him. Then, if the time passes for him, he should make it an Umrah and perform Hajj in the future, but there is no sacrifice upon him. And if he delays it until Hajj is completed, then in the following year both Hajj and Umrah are obligatory upon him, and whatever sacrificial animal he can afford. And if he cannot find a sacrificial animal, then he should fast for three days in such a way that the last fast is on the Day of Arafah.
