في الرجل يهل بالحج فيحصر ما عليهIf someone dons ihram for Hajj and is then prevented, what is required of him?
Hadith 13530
١٣٥٣٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا يحيى بن سعيد وابن علية عن حجاج (بن) (١) أبي عثمان عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن عكرمة عن الحجاج بن عمرو الأنصاري قال: سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "من حج فكُسِرَ أو عرج أحلَّ وعليه الحج". فذكرت ذلك لأبي هريرة وابن عباس، فقالا: صدق (٢).
Hazrat Hajjaj bin Amr Al-Ansari narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Whoever intends to perform Hajj (and enters into Ihram), then his leg or something else breaks or he becomes lame, then he should come out of Ihram; upon him is the obligation to perform Hajj as compensation. The narrator says: I mentioned this hadith before Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), so they said: He has spoken the truth.
