في الرجل يريد العمرة وهو بمكة: من أين يعتمر؟If someone is in Makkah and wishes to perform 'umrah, from where should he begin?
Hadith 13402
١٣٤٠٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا ابن فضيل (عن) (١) داود بن أبي هند قال: كنت (قاطنًا) (٢) بمكة، فسألت (مجاهدًا) (٣) من أين أحرم؟ قال: من حيث شئت، قلت: من ذات عرق؟ (٤) فإنها حدنا، قال: إذا كنت بمكة فأحرم من حيث شئت، وإذا جئت من بلد آخر فلا تجاوز الحد حتى (تحرم) (٥)، فإن رسول اللَّه ﷺ (قد) (٦) أحرم من الجعرانة وهو مقبل من الطائف (٧).
Hazrat Dawud bin Abu Hind narrates that I was residing in Makkah. I asked Hazrat Mujahid from where I should put on the Ihram. He replied, "Put it on from wherever you wish." I said, "Should I put it on from Dhat 'Irq? That is our boundary." He replied, "When you are residing in Makkah, put on the Ihram from wherever you wish. And when you come from another city, do not cross the Miqat without putting on the Ihram. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) put on the Ihram at the place of Ji'ranah when coming from Ta'if."
