في الرجل يريد العمرة وهو بمكة: من أين يعتمر؟If someone is in Makkah and wishes to perform 'umrah, from where should he begin?
Hadith 13397
١٣٣٩٧ - (حدثنا أبو بكر قال) (١): ثنا (أبو) (٢) (الأحوص) (٣) عن أبي الحارث (التيمي) (٤) قال: تمتعت، (فلقيت ابن عباس فقلت: إني تمتعت) (٥) وأنا أريد (أن) (٦) أهل بالحج، فمن أين أهل بالحج؟ قال: من حيث شئت، (قال) (٧): قلت من المسجد؟ قال: من المسجد (٨).
Hazrat Abu al-Harith al-Taimi says that I performed Hajj Tamattu' and I met Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them). I said to him that I am performing Hajj Tamattu' and now I want to enter into Ihram for Hajj; from where should I enter into Ihram for Hajj? He replied, "Enter into Ihram from wherever you wish." I asked, "Should I enter into Ihram from the mosque?" He said, "Yes, enter into Ihram from the mosque."
