Hadith 1339
١٣٣٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معتمر بن سليمان عن أبيه قال: سمعته يقول: كان ابن سيرين ربما بزق، فيقول للرجل: انظر هل تغير الريق؟، فإن كان تغير؛ بزق الثانية، فإن كان في الثالثة متغيرا، كان يتوضأ وإن لم يكن في الثالثة متغيرا، لم ير وضوء.
Hazrat Salman narrates that Hazrat Ibn Sirin would sometimes spit and then ask someone, "Look, has its color changed?" If the color had changed, he would spit a second time. If the color had changed a third time as well, he would perform ablution; but if the color had not changed the third time, he would not perform ablution.
