Hadith 1317
١٣١٧ - حدثنا (يعلى) (١) قال: حدثنا قدامة بن عبد اللَّه العامري قال حدثتني (جسرة) (٢) (قالت) (٣): حدثتني عائشة قالت: دخلت علي امرأة من اليهود، فقالت: إن عذاب القبر من البول، قلت: كذبت، قالت: بلى، إنه ليقرض منه الجلد والثوب، قالت: فخرج رسول اللَّه ﷺ إلى الصلاة، وقد ارتفعت أصواتنا: فقال: "ما هذا؟ " فأخبرته، فقال: "صدقت" (٤).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that once a Jewish woman came to me and said that the punishment of the grave also occurs because of urine. I said, "You are lying." She replied, "I am telling the truth; because of it, clothes and skin are cut." Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that in the meantime, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, and during this, our voices had become loud. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "What is this?" I told him the whole matter, and he said, "This woman is telling the truth."
