Hadith 12279
١٢٢٧٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حاتم بن إسماعيل عن جعفر عن أبيه قال: كان الحسن بن علي (جالسًا) (١) (فمر) (٢) عليه بجنازة [فقام الناس حين طلعت الجنازة، فقال الحسن بن علي: إنما (مر) (٣) على النبي ﷺ بجنازة] (٤) يهودي (وكان) (٥) رسول اللَّه ﷺ على طريقها جالسًا فكره أن يعلو رأسه جنازة (يهودي) (٦) فقام (٧).
Hazrat Ja'far narrates from his father that Hazrat Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was seated when a funeral procession passed by him. When the funeral passed by them, the people stood up. Hazrat Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Once, a Jewish funeral passed by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was seated in its path. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked that the Jewish funeral should pass above his head, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up.
