Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when Abu Talib passed away, I went to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Your misguided uncle has died." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Go and cover him, and do not do anything until you come to me." I went and covered him, then returned, and there were signs of dust and dirt upon me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me some supplications which were more pleasing to me than acquiring the things of this world.
