Hadith 12178
١٢١٧٨ - حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن ابن عجلان عن زيد بن أسلم قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "اللهم لا تجعل قبري وثنًا يصلى له، (اشتد) (١) غضب اللَّه على قوم اتخذوا قبور أنبيائهم مساجد" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Aslam that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Do not make my grave an idol that is worshipped. Surely, Allah's severe wrath and anger befell those people who made the graves of their prophets places of prostration.
