Hadith 12145
١٢١٤٥ - حدثنا يحيى بن آدم عن زهير عن موسى بن عقبة أنه رأى سالم بن (عبد اللَّه) (١) لا يمر بليل ولا نهار بقبر إلا (سلم) (٢) عليه ونحن مسافرون معه يقول: السلام عليكم، فقلت له في ذلك فأخبرنيه عن أبيه أنه كان يصنع ذلك (٣).
Hazrat Musa bin Uqbah says that I saw Hazrat Salam bin Abdullah, whether it was day or night, whenever he passed by any grave, he would greet it with salam, and we were traveling with him. He would say: "As-salamu alaikum." I asked him about this, and he told me that his father used to do the same.
