Hadith 12140
١٢١٤٠ - حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن عبد الملك (بن أبي) (١) سليمان عن (أبي) (٢) (عبد الرحمن) (٣) عن زاذان قال: كان عليّ إذا دخل المقابر قال: السلام على من في هذه الديار من المؤمنين والمسلمين، أنتم لنا فرط ونحن لكم تبع وإنا بكم (للاحقون) (٤)، (وإنا) (٥) للَّه وإنا إليه راجعون.
Hazrat Zadhan narrates that when Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him, may Allah honor his face) would enter a graveyard, he would recite this supplication: Peace be upon you, O believers and Muslims of this place. You have preceded us, and we shall follow you and join you. Indeed, we all belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.
